The Constitutional Research Institute, a branch research institute of the Constitutional Court of Korea, has been holding an international symposium every year.

This year, the 13th International Symposium will be held under the theme "Demographic Change and Constitutional Law.”

Professors Jocelyn Downie, Bridget Lewis, and Hyun Jung Lee will provide in-depth presentations on the current state and constitutional challenges related to demographic changes and constitutional law in Canada, Australia, and Germany.

I hope that the symposium will serve as an opportunity to shed new light on the meaning of human rights, including dignified death, climate change and intergenerational justice, and the concept of family, providing a forum for meaningful international academic exchange that will further advance our constitutional jurisprudence.
