Purpose
The purpose of the Visiting Scholars Program is to give those who wish to conduct research on the constitution and on constitutional adjudication, including professors both at home and abroad, an opportunity to conduct independent research at the Institute for up to one year.
Eligibility
- A full-time university lecturer or the equivalent
- A person qualified to be an attorney of law, a university adjunct professor, or the equivalent
- An employee of a constitutional adjudication organization or a research institution on the constitution or on constitutional adjudication, a person qualified to be an attorney of law, or a doctoral degree holder or the equivalent
Application
Submit an application form ( Download ), a research proposal (no particular form required), and an undertaking form( Download ) until one month prior to the commencement of the applicant’s research at the Institute. Until before one month of his or her research beginning at the Institute.
Selection
The Institute's president will select a visiting scholar after reviewing the candidates' achievements and research subjects.
Expectations
Visiting scholars should conduct research with diligence. A visiting scholar will be expected to deliver one presentation to the faculty members of the institution regarding his/her research findings.
Resources for Visiting Scholars
- Library borrowing privileges as provided by Library regulations.
- Independent space/room.
- Access to non-classified research facilities.
- Participation in the activities of Constitutional Research Institute and the Constitutional Court, upon permission.
